Remember I told you lot virtually my novel love, cardamom? We had a appointment today. Well, it was to a greater extent than similar a cardamom-palooza than simply a date ... but let's stick alongside calling it a date.
Mark had to move today, as well as it's ever unsafe to exit me yesteryear myself on a Saturday. Out came the to-be-tried recipe lists, as well as when all was said-and-done, I had seat iii cardamom cookie recipes through the ringer - Chai Sugar Cookies, Chai Shortbread (naked as well as chocolate-dipped ... the chocolate-dipped was my ain brain-child), as well as Sparkling Cardamom Cocoa Drops. But I don't desire to overwhelm you lot alongside my novel love, hence I'll innovate you lot to it piece of cake - starting alongside the Chai Sugar Cookies. (Side note: My unofficial "official" tasters ask to gear upwardly themselves for a tasting assist parcel - you lot know who you lot are!)
For the Chai Sugar Cookies, you lot start alongside the same-ol'-same-ol' materials you'd mean value of for a saccharide cookie - butter, sugar, eggs, flour, - but hence you lot add together this wonderful combination of spices that makes chai chai:
The chai line-up ... vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, & dark pepper.
Yummy lilliputian chai saccharide balls.
... bake 'em up, as well as enjoy! ... maybe alongside a loving cup of chai tea.
Aren't those crackled tops pretty?
