All you lot ask is cake flour, sugar, vi jumbo eggs, cream cheese, butter together with margarine.  This recipe doesn’t call for vanilla but I’ve been adding it the final few years. I’m posting the recipe equally it was passed on to me but adding some suggestions inward the notes. I don’t fix or bake amongst margarine anymore, together with hence I’ve been making this cake amongst all butter. I never convey jumbo eggs, together with hence I become far amongst vii large eggs instead.

Ingredients




  • 8
    oz
    cream cheese,
    room temperature


  • 1/2
    cup
    unsalted butter (room temperature)


  • 1
    cup
    Parkay margarine,
    room temperature


  • 3
    cups
    granulated sugar


  • 3
    cups
    cake flour
    sifted later on measuring


  • 6
    Jumbo eggs





Instructions




  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, margarine, together with cream cheese until smooth.



  2. Add the carbohydrate together with rhythm out until real low-cal together with fluffy.




  3. Alternate adding eggs together with flour. Beat exclusively until the yolks disappear together with all flour is incorporated. Do non over-beat.




  4. Grease together with flour (or run Baking Pam) a large (12 cup) Bundt pan or 2 loaf pans.



  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hr 45 minutes.



  6. Allow the cake to cool xxx minutes earlier removing from the pan.






Recipe Notes

This recipe has also been tested multiple times using all butter (unsalted only) instead of the margarine together with butter combo. The cake bakes to a greater extent than speedily when made amongst but butter together with is a niggling darker some the edges. IMPORTANT: If using all butter instead of margarine, bring down the baking fourth dimension to ninety minutes.


If you lot don't convey jumbo eggs, I run vii large eggs.


My mother in law never added common salt or flavorings but I've been adding 1 tablespoon vanilla to the recipe equally good equally 1/2 teaspoon salt.
