Oven Roasted Tomatoes

It’s fourth dimension for roughly other episode of our ‘garden-to-table’ feature.  Today we’ll oven roast Roma-Grape tomatoes.  This diversity of tomatoes is novel to me this summer, too new to our garden.  They are larger than your typical grape tomato plant too smaller than a Roma.  The season however, is unforgettable.

Preheat the oven to 225 degrees too spread the tomatoes on a baking sheet.  Drizzle amongst a picayune olive crude oil (I used a Mr. Misto spritzer), sprinkle amongst a dash of sugar, a skillful pinch of ocean salt, freshly terra firma pepper, julienned fresh basil leaves too almost four minced cloves of garlic. 

Bake for four hours too let to cool.  Refrigerate until gear upwardly to use.  It’s real difficult non to consume them all fresh from the oven.

Oven Roasted Tomatoes

Whole cherry, grape or Roma Grape tomatoes (I used almost four cups)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive crude oil (more or less every bit needed to lightly comprehend tomatoes)
1 teaspoon saccharide
1 teaspoon ocean salt
freshly terra firma pepper
8 fresh basil leaves, julienned
