Berry Oatmeal Crumble Bars

Ingredients



For the crust/crumble mixture




  • ane loving cup
    addition ane tablespoon whole wheat pastry flour (non regular whole wheat, this is a finer ground multifariousness..tin can likewise sub all use)


  • three/4
    cup
    oats


  • one/2
    teaspoon
    baking pulverisation


  • ane/two
    teaspoon
    cinnamon


  • 1/2
    teaspoon
    salt


  • ane
    large
    egg


  • one/3

    brownish carbohydrate, loosely packed

    vanilla extract

    coconut rock oil, melted together with cooled




For the berries




  • 2 i/two
    cups
    berries (I used a mixture of blueberries, raspberries, in addition to blackberries)

    cornstarch

    freshly squeezed lemon juice (from almost one lemon)


  • 2
    tablespoons
    pure maple syrup





Instructions





  1. Preheat oven to 350℉. Spray a 8x8 drinking glass baking dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.




  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and common salt. Whisk to combine.




  3. In a sort bowl, whisk together the egg, dark-brown carbohydrate, vanilla, and coconut fossil oil until polish. Add the dry out ingredients to the moisture, in addition to stir until mixture turns into a dough. Press ⅔ of the mixture into the bottom of the pan to course the crust. Set aside.
